Somewhere deep in the Rockies, three friends sat around a campfire after a long night hike. Their gear had failed them—torn straps, soaked boots, and a tent that barely held up against the wind. But as the first light touched the peaks, they realized something: the outdoors will always test you, and your gear should never hold you back.
That’s where Aperi was born—from the Latin word aperire, meaning to open. To open the trail. To open your senses. To open the world.
We started small: sketching designs on napkins, testing prototypes in the rain, and learning from every blister, storm, and sunrise. What grew from those early adventures is a brand built on the idea that every journey deserves gear that’s honest, tough, and ready for the wild.
